Whales & Golden Circle afternoon
Whale Watching Cruise from Reykjavík:
Animal lovers this way! Sailing past the islands of Faxaflói, and along the coast of Reykjavík, on our luxury superyacht, we head out to areas of the bay known for an abundance of marine life. We frequently spot whales, dolphins, and orca in our pristine waters, their beauty only amplified by the stunning mountainous landscape around us.
Duration: 2.5-3 hours.
This is a day tour in a comfortable minibus with a small group. You will visit the most famous places of the Golden Circle. You will see the famous Geyser and geothermal zone, the powerful Gulfoss waterfall, Þingvellir national Park and The Crater.✓ Þingvellir National Park – The location of Althing, the old Parliament of Iceland. At Þingvellir the Eurasian and North American plate boundaries which run through Iceland are clearly visible – the plates are moving apart here and the land between them is subsiding.✓ Geysir Geothermal Area – From Þingvellir we head along the mountains to the world renowned geothermal hot spring area around Geysir. Although the original Geysir is not active at the moment, its neighbour, Strokkur, spouts every 5 or 10 minutes.✓ Gullfoss Waterfalls – Gullfoss means the Golden waterfall and you will not be disappointed there. Gullfoss is actually two separate waterfalls of 11 and 22 meter height. On a sunny day a rainbow will be likely to show up and you can make wishes that might even come true!✓ Faxi Waterfall – It’s a beautiful and dynamic waterfall. Just above the waterfall is a common sheep fold and right next to the waterfall you can find some cool salmon ladder.✓ Crater Kerið – It’s a nicely shaped pseudo crater formed some 5,000 years ago, with a rather deep lake in the bottom.✓ Little Extra Touch – We will add some local touch and different places to visit depending on time, weather and mood.

Since this is a wildlife tour we can never predict or guarantee sightings of any kind. In the event that we don't encounter any whales and dolphins, we do not offer refunds, but instead, give our passengers a complimentary ticket to use another day. Weather is a big factor for the tour, and we may have to cancel the tour.
