Daily diary – April 1 2025

Unfortunately due to bad weather conditions, we had to cancel this mornings tour.

Luckily enough the wind died down enough for us to explore the bay in the afternoon, we dealt with some big swell, but nothing too bad! We came across many many pods of harbour porpoises, ranging between 1 to 3 individuals. Then further out in the bay we found 2 minke whales, however they were being very shy and only surfaced once before disappearing on us. We were also lucky to spot a puffin flying by too! Although we had a seen two species, they were only brief encounters, so everyone got complimentary tickets to return.
