Daily diary – April 28 2025

The sun was out for us this morning, and the sea was nice and flat! We headed out into the bay and came across five minke whales! We sailed passed them and continued further out into the bay, where we were greeted by hundreds of white-beaked dolphins! They were in every direction we looked! Feeding, swimming, jumping and breaching! The dolphins were so active! Nearby we could see some blows from two humpback whales! We went over to check them out and saw one of them really close!

The wind picked up over the afternoon tour, and the clouds came in a bit more! But we headed straight towards our humpback whales and got to see both of them up close! They were diving quite short dives and surfacing briefly as they fed!
