Daily diary – April 4 2025

Today’s morning looked very promising because of quiet sea and good visibility. The lucky ones could spot some harbour porpoises swimming by our boat. We then came across a minke whale! It was being a little bit difficult to follow but we did get a good look at it! Later on we even saw a big blow – a good sign telling us the humpbacks have returned to the bay after a two-week break!

In the afternoon it looked like the wind went little bit down, so it was quite nice for a while but when we were heading back we had the wind in our face so it was quite more windy. Quite early on the tour we saw quite a lot of harbour porpoises which is quite unusual. Of course we were hoping to see something bigger like the humpback whale from the morning tour but the luck was not on our side this time.
