Daily diary – August 12 2025

Another successful day. On our first trip of the day, we saw several humpback whales and minke whales. The afternoon was similar, with a humpback whale that we saw up close. Our last tour was truly amazing, with so many minke whales to observe. We were lucky enough to see three humpback whales, one of which was bubble net feeding. But what particularly surprised us was the number of minke whales in the bay.
