Daily diary – August 14 2024

Another great day of Whale Watching around Reykjavik today.

The weather was perfect in the morning, with no wind and very calm seas. There were whales sleeping a bit throughout the trip. However, they were very calm and we were able to see them close to the boat.
After a while, we started to observe some white-beaked dolphins playing with the boat.

On the afternoon the wind start to increase, but the whales were a way more actives. They were feeding on the area and we’ve been lucky to see many flukes. Very lucky since 3 weeks to have all theses whales around!
