Daily diary – August 14 2025

Another good day at the sea – we managed to find whales in every tour even though weather conditions were pretty demanding, with strong winds and harsh waves.

In the morning we saw two grown up humpbacks, the afternoon was spent among harbour porpoises, minke whales and quite of a shy humpback – it eventually decided to show us the tail couple of times though.

The evening tour was probably the hardest weather-wise but going out paid off! We spotted a breaching humpback in the distance. It was a young individual, feeling so comfortable with us being around. It checked us out couple of times, came very close to our boat and rolled on it´s back, gave us couple of tail and fin splashes as well. Beautiful show.
