Daily diary – August 19 2025

Best possible weather conditions for whale watching – calm seas appearing almost like a piece of glass, almost no wind, high tide and good visibility.

We spotted three species on all of our three tours. Dolphins were feeling very playful today – we spotted quite of a big pod with calves swimming alongside with the grown-ups. Countless amount of minke whales has been spotted during the whole day, we even saw the lunge feeding couple of times!

Our humpbacks were very relaxed today. We spotted single individuals that showed us their flukes, as well as 4 grown-ups swimming together. Since the water was so calm, we could even hear them breathing.
