Daily diary – August 6 2025

This morning the sea conditions remained a little choppy from the last few days. We had a few waves and the weather wasn’t very sunny. But that didn’t stop us seeing whales.

Our day went from strength to strength, with the whales becoming more numerous and more active as the hours went by. During all our tours, we observed numerous Minke Whales, Humpback Whales and White-beaked Dolphins.

During our first tour we were also lucky enough to sail with a Fin whale! A rare sighting in Faxafloi Bay!

And above all, during our last tour, we saw countless whales, both Minke and Humpback whales. They slapped rheir flippers and their tails at the surface of the water and even jumped right next to the boat!
