Daily diary – December 17 2024

We had lovely sunny skies with some clouds, but the sea was nice and calm for everyone. We headed to the spot from the previous tours and soon found the pair of humpback whales again. Today they were a little more sleepy and were resting at the surface of the water more. They slowly woke up and were fluking a bit more! It was so cool to see! As we were waiting for them, a few seals popped there head out of the water to see what all the fuss was about. Then a third whale snuck up on us for a short while and then disappeared again. A few people also got to see some harbour porpoises, but as usual, they disappeared. We headed back as the sun began to set again.
