Daily diary – February 18 2025

Similar conditions to the last day here in Reykjavik, a little wind, but no waves and we even had some sun on the second part of the day.
We left this morning to go see the whales after 1h15 of sailing. We arrived in Hafnafjordur we saw a humpback whale. It was cool, it showed us its tail several times. We also saw seals this morning which was really cool since it was planned from the boat.
This afternoon we found a Whale faster than this morning or after 15 minutes of sailing. We followed it for almost an hour it showed its tail dozens of times. We also saw Harbour Porpoises that swam very close to the boat.
This day was superb. I think the next few days should be superb as well since there are more and more Whales, and the conditions will be great.
