We saw them all!
The whole day was absolutely beautiful, with calm seas and perfect visibility. It all started with the smallest species – 5 harbour porpoises cutting the waves. We also spotted around 10-15 minke whales, surfacing here and there all the time. Again, we managed to see the female humpback with a young calf. This little one is always so curious – rolling, spy-hopping and splashing around all of the boats. There were also some other humpbacks in the area, at some point we saw a group of 3 juveniles swimming together on their backs and splashing with their flippers. The speedboat passengers got to see two breaches from a grown-up humpback too! We finished all of the tours by spotting a lively pod of white-beaked dolphins with some juveniles swimming along with the grown-ups.
Definitely a successful day!
