Daily diary – July 14 2025

One of the hottest days of the summer, perfect visibility and relatively calm seas.

We started the day with minke whales and dolphins, but the show was stolen by humpbacks! First we found the mother with her calf, baby was playful and curious as usual. Later on, we found two grown up humpbacks, performing a professional dance arrangement – they were swimming together, synchronously: once on their backs, once on their stomachs. They showed us their flippers, then graced us with many jumps and splashes.

The afternoon was another feast time – we found at least 6 humpbacks, creating bubble nets and lunge feeding! The whole day was a fantastic show!
