What a day! Although it was rainy, that didn’t stop us from seeing whales. This morning we were able to observe the four different types of whales that can be seen in this bay: harbour porpoises, white-beaked dolphins, minke whales and humpback whales. And we were very lucky because they all appeared in the same area.
This afternoon, we saw fewer species but more individuals. We saw several minke whales, some of which appeared very close to the boat. We also saw three different humpback whales. We saw each of their tails. One of them was very active and a large group of birds was following it, which made it easier to find.
