Daily diary – July 31 2025

We end July with a bang. A wonderful day, with calm seas, great visibility and the sun shining into our faces. Throughout the day´s tours we managed to spot them all… and even with a bonus!

We encountered plenty of humpback and minke whales on our first tour, they were very calm, surfacing again and again.

The afternoon tour started with a brief encounter with a few harbour porpoises, the rest of the time was spent amongst over 10 very active humpbacks feeding in the same area, along with minke whales and white-beaked dolphins here and there. The speedboat group gained a very memorable experience, as they spotted two large fin whales that decided to visit our bay couple of days ago!
