Daily diary – July 9 2025

Today’s sea conditions weren’t great, but that didn’t stop the Humpback whales from showing up. We were lucky enough to see lots of them, including 3 that were sailing together. We were able to see them up close as they were quite curious. we also saw a few minke whales that appeared very stealthily.
The skies cleared a little in the afternoon, allowing a few rays of sunshine to appear. The Humpback whales were still there, we were also able to see Minke whales as well as white-beaked dolphins.
