Whale Watching by RIB Speedboat in Reykjavik, Iceland - humpback whale leaping out of the water, lazy breach

On the first day of June, the weather got worse – there was a strong and cold wind, visibility was poor. However, this did not stop us from exploring the bay! Amelia Rose, Harpa as well as the Rib Boat took passengers in search of marine mammals.

During the morning tour, we spent over an hour and a half looking for whales and saw a humpback at the very end.

In the afternoon the sun came out, the wind remained quite strong tough. We saw the humpback again – he was very busy looking for food and decided to breach out of the water, to everyone’s delight.

As you can see, even a cloudy day can turn out to be full of excitement.
