Daily diary – June 15 2025

This morning was much colder than the previous days, with a strong wind blowing in our faces. We spent over an hour looking for whales and when we were sure we wouldn´t be able to see anything again, we spotted a pod of white-beaked dolphins in the distance. To our luck, they were feeling super social and gave us a show by jumping around our boat. On the way back, we managed to meet a humpback too!
The afternoon tour, though, was out of this world. One humpback breached right in front of us, right after we spotted another humpback in the same area. On the way back, meanwhile, we had a rather unusual encounter with a minke whale. Usually a rather skittish species, today decided to come closer to us and was swimming around us for over 10 minutes, showing its smile!
As you can see, every tour is different and unique in its own way.
