Daily diary – June 8 2025

Conditions that looked good from the harbor, but in the end there was wind at sea but no waves. So no one got sick. The conditions were generally good. Just a little cold to bear.
This morning we left and after a short search, we quickly found a humpback whale. It showed its tail several times around the boat. It was truly magnificent, then we continued on our way. We want to find another species or another individual, and we found another humpback whale that also showed us its tail; it was magnificent.
In the afternoon, we set out in search of the same whales, except they were no longer there. They had swum off in the meantime. We saw some minky whales, and at the end, we also found a humpback whale that was sleeping, so it was a little lazier. But it was still superb.
The forecast for next week looks great!
