Daily diary – March 11 2025

A calm and sunny day today with great conditions for whale watching!
This morning we set off and had to sail quite a long way out but we were lucky enough to spot a huge humpback whale, which surfaced close to the boat on several occasions. Some of us also saw harbour porpoises but they were, as usual, quite stealthy.
This afternoon we saw 3 very active humpback whales feeding, as well as a Minke Whale, which we hadn’t seen for several months! They’re coming back!
The conditions over the next few days are incredible, the sea will be beautiful and calm!
