Daily diary – March 15 2024

We left this morning full of hope, as the previous day had not been very fruitful. The sea had a few waves but no wind, so the weather was quite pleasant. We were able to observe a Humpback whale, which showed us its tail several times.

Regarding the afternoon tour, it took us a good hour before we were able to see our first cetacean. We saw a Minke Whale that was moving very quickly, appearing 3 times on the surface very close to the boat before continuing on its way. Then we were extremely lucky to come across a group of around a hundred White Beaked Dolphins in the middle of a hunting party. An extraordinary moment!
