Under blue skies and bright sunshine, we were lucky enough to observe several Minke whales hunting in the same area as many birds, especially gannets diving into the water at speeds of up to 100 km/h. We also enjoyed the presence of several white beaked dolphins who came to say hello.
What we can note from this day is that the presence of groups of birds in one place is a good clue to help us find whales, as both seabirds and whales feed on the same small fish.
