Today, the sea conditions have deteriorated a little over the past few days, making the day’s two laps a little hectic.
Fortunately for us, this didn’t stop the whales from showing up.
On the morning tour at 9:15, we saw two Humpback whales sailing peacefully together. We were also lucky enough to see a Minke whale on our way.
On the afternoon tour at 13:15, we were able to see the same 2 Humpback whales that we had seen this morning, continuing to sail together. Then, at the same time, a third Humpback whale was a few meters behind us.
As we could see, the wind and waves have no effect on whether or not there are whales, but they sometimes make it harder for the crew to find them.
