Daily diary – October 14 2024

The whole day was a success. In fact, throughout the morning tour we were lucky enough to observe numerous Minke Whales swimming around the boat, sometimes coming very close. During this first tour we must have seen around ten different Minke Whales.
We also met two Humpback Whales swimming quietly, they were quite far away in the bay.
As for our afternoon tour, it was 100% successful. We were lucky enough to see the 4 different species that can be seen in Faxaflói bay.
Firstly, a small group of Harbour Porpoises, then at least 5 Minke Whales, a Humpback Whale and finally a group of 4 White Beaked Dolphins.
