Daily diary – September 2 2025

Pretty strong wind and choppy seas, but again – the visibility was perfect and we found all of the whales during the whole day.

We spent the morning with a surprisingly fast and elusive humpback whale, we managed to see it´s beautiful tail though! Two minke whales have been spotted from a distance too. On the way back we saw a big pod of harbour porpoises.

In the afternoon we found not one but two humpback whale! First – the same as in the morning, second – much bigger further offshore. Passengers on Amelia Rose had an encounter with a pod of white-beaked dolphins, RIB boat tour got a chance to say hello to our smallest whales – harbour porpoises.

All in all, it was a beautiful day on the sea!
