Great visibility and relatively calm seas allowed us to explore the bay on another whale watching cruise.
We needed to go far out to find the whales but it was worth the hassle. We found not one but as many as 4 grown-up humpbacks swimming alongside. They gave us a beautiful show – lots of flukes, rolling on the sides, pec slapping – basically anything you need to call it a successful whale watching tour. The area had to be full of fish because we spotted two minke whales in a distance, a lot of northern fulmars and diving northern gannets.
Good day!
