Daily diary – September 3 2025

September is off to a good start. Today we had beautiful weather with bright sunshine and a big blue sky. The whales were also in good spirits. On our morning tour, we saw a few harbour porpoises, several minke whales and four humpback whales, two of which appeared very close to the boat. We were able to observe them numerous times and see their flukes (another name for their tails) several times.

The afternoon was quite similar, with lots of harbour porpoises, minke whales and four humpback whales.
