Daily diary – June 9 2024

After 7 days of stormy weather, the boats were finally able to leave port today in superb conditions. Little wind, no waves and plenty of sunshine all day long.

We were lucky enough to spot dolphins this morning and Minke Whales all day. Sometimes they were quiet and very close to the boat. We were also lucky enough to see harbour porpoise very stealthily.

A real pleasure to have great conditions here in Reykjavik again. The forecast is positive for the days ahead, and we’re in for some great days ahead!
