Comment: We set off on our Northern Lights tour in high spirits – the weather forecast promised a spectacular display, the sky was clear, and we could easily make out all the familiar constellations.

Shortly after reaching a dark spot between the islands, it began! Beautiful green curtains spread out right above our heads; after a moment, they transformed into a dancing display of shades of green and purple. An equally intense wave of the Northern Lights repeated itself on the way back to the harbour! The Aurora thus saw us off, and we left the Amelie Rose with smiles on our faces.
