Forecast from Vedur.is : Tonight we are expecting partially clear skies and good KP index, the Northern Lights tour is on!

Comment: We set sail from the harbour under heavy clouds and a snowstorm. Upon reaching our destination in the darkness between the islands, the sky cleared and we could see the stars – a good sign! Unfortunately, the Northern Lights did not appear, so we offered our passengers a complimentary ticket so they could repeat the tour and see the beautiful aurora with their own eyes!
