Forecast from Vedur.is : Clear sky above Reykjavik, high KP index. The tour is on!

Comment: What a wonderful night it was. We, in fact, expected a good show – clear skies and a good KP index, but the aurora is always captivating!
The show began practically from the first minute of our tour. As we sailed into the darker parts of our bay, the aurora appeared as a delicate streak on the left side. We didn’t have to wait long to see several beautiful ribbons dancing above Mount Esja and above our heads, shimmering in shades of green…
It was also good timing! After about an hour and a half, the aurora faded – still visible in the north, but much more delicate.

A wonderful night and satisfied passengers are our favourite combo!
