Comment:

We set off from the harbour into a strong north wind. The sky was almost cloudless and the KP index promised a good show!
Right from the start, the aurora was in the sky, but only visible with a long exposure on our cameras. After reaching the shelter between the islands, we were rewarded – a beautiful green aurora appeared above Esja, stretching in a serpentine shape towards the west. Despite the wind, we managed to enjoy the show, so we count the evening as a success!
