Comment:
The weather conditions that night were truly Icelandic – strong winds and a snowstorm that kept obscuring the sky. Fortunately, once we reached a quiet spot between the islands, the weather calmed down.
Shortly before setting sail back to port, a delicate aurora appeared before our eyes, rising above Mount Esja. It lingered in the sky as a faint streak, visible only through the camera lens. For this reason, we offered our passengers a complimentary ticket so that they could return and see the aurora in all its splendour.
