Forecast from Vedur.is : Tonight we are expecting partially clear skies and good aurora activity, the Northern Lights tour is on!

Comment: The night looked promising, but during our tour that evening, all we saw was a very faint arc of northern lights stretching across the sky above Mount Esja. We offered our passengers a complimentary ticket so they could try again to see the aurora in all its splendour.
