Forecast: We’re expecting a clear night above Reykjavik with good northern light activity.

Comment: It was the night when, with a cup of hot chocolate, we watched the starry sky and the beautiful aurora. It did not keep us waiting long. At around 9:40 p.m., above Mount Esja, we saw beautiful rays of light – slightly faded at first glance, but gaining in colour and shape with each passing moment. It was a beautiful show, and at one point the entire sky to our left was covered with the dancing aurora.
