Whale Watching Daily Diary – December 15th 2025

Today was incredibly cold but so breathtakingly beautiful. Calm seas, pink and gold lit snowy mountains. Heaven.

We came across two humpback whales who stayed with us for ages, constantly showing their tails, and they even dived about 10m from the front of the yacht! Really putting on a show for us 🙂

We carried on cruising around and trying to find more whales when we briefly saw a seal staring at us from near Videy, always lovely to see. We were looking at that we saw the blow of a third humpback whale! It was doing very deep dives so a bit tricky to see but we saw it a good few times before leaving it be.
