Whale Watching Daily Diary – December 22nd 2025

The weather today was very dramatic, windy and grey, but that didn´t stop us heading out to look for whales. We found them first on the Northern edge of Engey, and watched them for a while before going to looking in amongst the islands to see what we could find.

We found some harbour seals which are always a joy to spot, though no other whales. But before we long we came across the humpback whales again, further in between the islands and out of the waves. They swam around us for a long time, coming right up to the front of the ship. So exciting!

A windy but wonderful day on the water.
