Whale Watching Daily Diary – December 3 2025

Today we left the harbor with calm waters but of course cold winds! With the bright sun leading us we headed north and after a while we encountered a magnificent pod of white beaked dolphins splashing around. In the beginning we thought they were just a few but no! There were at least 50/60 dolphins! Maybe up to a hundred! After that we travelled a little bit closer to Reykjavik and we saw 2 humpback whales. We had the chance to see their fantastics tails several times!

Being at sea at this frozen time of year could be challenging but sharing a moment of time with these incredible animals is worth it, and is something you should experience at least once in a life!
