Whale Watching Daily Diary – December 6th 2025
Fantastic weather conditions today: calm seas, almost no wind and great visibility.
It didn´t take us long to spot our first whales, after about 20 minutes of sailing we saw a big pod of white-beaked dolphins. As usual, they were pretty curious about us, got close to the boat, showing off and jumping. Amazing encounter but not the only one for today!
In a distance of couple of miles, we spotted a huge blow of a humpback. Between Engey and Viðey islands, two humpbacks were swimming peacefully – we know them very well already. Blows, tails, pec slaps and surfacing 10 meters from the boat left everyone in awe. In between the humpback show, a small harbour seal decided to check us out too!
