Morning Whale Watching Tour

This morning we set sail with a strong wind blowing from the east, so the sea was slightly rough. We set our course northward, hoping to find dolphins—that’s where we had seen them in previous days. Unfortunately, the search was unsuccessful, so we moved on to find our regulars, two humpbacks. We succeeded again today! Banana and Apple were swimming together near Lundey today. They brought us as much joy as in previous days, showing off their beautiful tails.

Afternoon Whale Watching Tour

In the afternoon, the weather remained windy, but fortunately the waves subsided a bit. We headed straight for the humpbacks, but were stopped by playful seals near Viðey! The tide was low, so it was easy for us to watch them splash around in the shallow waters. We spent the rest of the trip in the company of humpbacks, and thanks to the calmer sea, we saw not only their tails, but the whole splendor of these gentle giants.
