Whale Watching Daily Diary – January 11th 2026

Fantastic weather conditions, just like yesterday! Calm seas, almost no wind, and the sun on our faces.

It took us a bit longer today to find the whales, so we started our tour with many harbour seals. Almost 20 of them in one area close to Lundey, we spent some quiet time with them and set our sails to the west. Much closer to the harbour, there was a rather small humpback waiting for us! On it’s own and quite actively swimming around us, surfacing frequently. During our break from the humpback, we encountered a small pod of harbour porpoises too!

Today’s guide: Klaudia.
