Humpback whale flukes showing their unique black and white pattern

Today our tour was again accompanied by a little wind but no big waves.

It took us less than 15 minutes to spot a humpback whale. With a slight breeze in our faces, we were able to appreciate the majesty of this species on the surface of the water.

After spending some time with this first individual, we sailed towards the interior of the bay, with the imposing Esja mountain always in front of us. And then another surprise: a second humpback whale, this one a little bigger and with a beautiful, elegant tail. Here, sheltered from the wind, we could even hear its incredible blow.

What a wonderful, sunny afternoon!
