Whale Watching Daily Diary – January 18th 2026

Another brutally windy day out of Reykjavík. Even so, the wind didn’t affect the swell too much, which allowed us to head out safely.

A humpback whale surfaced right in the middle of the small waves, and we were able to see it several times, very close to the boat. It was an incredible moment. We were also lucky enough to spot a few seals along our route, making the trip even more special despite the challenging weather.

Thank you to all of our passengers for your bravery and patience today.
