Whale Watching Daily Diary – January 28th 2026

Today was finally a day with less wind than the previous few days.

And as has become pretty common these days, our whale friends were really close to Reykjavik, just outside the harbor.

For a few days now, they’ve been swimming together in sync, like two old friends. They came close to our boat several times, almost as if they wanted to say hi to us and we were enchanted by their majesty.

It was a beautiful winter day with perfect conditions and the sea was not rough at all!
