Whale Watching Daily Diary – January 2nd 2025

What a cold day! But on the second day of the year, we went sailing in the area again. Despite the low temperatures, the weather was calm and pleasant for being out at sea, and everyone was in good spirits as we left the harbor.

During the tour, we were lucky to see three humpback whales very clearly, surfacing several times close enough for good views. We also spotted a fourth humpback whale farther away. Still, it was exciting to know there were several whales in the area!

One of the most special moments was seeing the moon and the sun in the sky at the same time, creating a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. And as the icing on the cake, the whales showed us two synchronized tails!!Just amazing!
