Today we went out into Reykjavík Bay for a whale-watching trip. The sea was a bit choppy but manageable, with a cold wind blowing across the water.
However, just five minutes after leaving the port, there were our beloved whales. In total, we saw three humpback whales and then, as the icing on the cake, the shy harbor porpoises, very close to the boat.
What a privilege to be able to continue sailing this bay full of life.
