Morning Whale Watching Tour

Today started off in the best possible way, with calm seas and no heavy rainfall, unlike the previous few days. For a while we had the pleasure of sailing with the sun shining and a beautiful rainbow in front of us. However, it took us a while to find the humpback whales, as they were about 15 miles from the port, about an hour’s sailing away. Thanks to the excellent conditions, we managed to reach them. We encountered two humpback whales, Banana and Kiwi, not far from each other. The first one did not seem to enjoy socialising very much today and soon moved away among the waves, while the second one gave us a magnificent show, coming close to us and showing us its impressive tail several times.

Afternoon Whale Watching Tour

In the afternoon, we took advantage of the beautiful day and excellent weather conditions at sea to sail further offshore. And there they were again, the two humpback whales, which had moved from where they had been in recent days, as the currents carrying the fish had changed direction. This time it was truly spectacular and unique. As soon as we arrived, the whale slapped its tail up and down several times, showing itself to be super active right from the start. But the highlight came later, when we thought it was all over, and the humpback whale unexpectedly jumped out of the water seven times. We were really lucky today.
