Morning Whale Watching Tour

Today, at last, the sun is shining beautifully over Reykjavik, and it feels like a late spring’s day if it weren’t for the wind and the choppy sea, which unfortunately made sightings difficult, even if our friends were probably there somewhere. We gave it a go anyway and looked for whales, but this time we weren’t exactly lucky and didn’t spot any in the end.

Afternoon Whale Watching Tour

In the afternoon, however, we were luckier and it turned out to be a wonderful tour full of pleasant surprises. We finally saw Banana again, the humpback whale that had kept us company for most of the winter. This time, though, ir was alone. Who knows, perhaps next time we’ll be able to see it in the company of some other whales!
