Whale Watching Daily Diary – March 23rd 2026

Reykjavik Iceland, whale watching Tour photo; Dorsal fin of a harbour porpoise as it swims in calm water near reykjavik

The weather at sea remains challenging – a strong, cold wind and slightly choppy seas.

After a long search for signs of whales, we spotted some harbour porpoises! Unfortunately, as is usually the case with them, they disappeared as quickly as they appeared… Unfortunately, after this encounter, we were unable to spot any more marine mammals, so we offered our passengers a complimentary ticket, which they can use within the next 3 years.

Due to the deteriorating weather conditions this afternoon, we have cancelled the remaining tours for today.
