Morning Whale Watching Tour

Today we sailed among the archipelago of islands not far from Reykjavik and then headed north. In terms of weather, the day did not start off in the best way: the sea was very rough, even though we were not too far from the coast, and it was snowing. These conditions can sometimes affect the chances of seeing whales because, even though they might be there, it is more difficult for us to spot them among the splashes and high waves. We searched hard but unfortunately we were unable to find them this time. On the other hand, we had a visit from some seals who approached our boat several times, curious to see what we were doing. Despite everything, today was still a nice adventure!

Afternoon Whale Watching Tour

In the afternoon, our adventure with bad weather continues. Fortunately, this time the sea is not as rough as it was in the morning, but strong winds continue to blow, accompanied by heavy rain mixed with freezing snow. Once again, we are unable to see any whales, but luckily the seals come to cheer us up, swimming straight towards our boat, a sign that makes us understand that they are happy to see us again.
